On the Main Street in Prešov lies the MYtkáme atelier, a place where the past meets the present, and where the story of the founders, Mirka and Matúš, was born.
Our story began with a thread that connected generations. The fourth generation of weavers, brave ancestors who brought weaving into the present.
Since childhood, I watched my grandfather and grandmother lovingly intertwine the world through weaving.
I observed every movement, every touch, every precious thread that on the loom became a magical fabric.
And so I gradually became part of this wonderful craft.
Together with my partner Matúš, we joined forces and created the MYtkáme atelier - a place where weaving became more than just a craft. It became a story of love, devotion, and heritage.
In the MYtkáme atelier, not only weaving but stories intertwine with fabric.
Every original piece we create carries a piece of soul, a piece of our family history.
The story of the MYtkáme atelier is a story of the connection of our hearts with our roots.
